Resource Teacher

Description Saint Paschal Baylon School, nestled in the heart of Thousand Oaks, is looking for a full-time Resource Teacher beginning the 2026-2027 school year. All applicants should be energetic, a team player, and contain a strong desire to work in a faith-based community. Candidates for this position must possess strong instructional skills and the ability to work with both individual students and small groups. This position will help to differentiate within the classroom, as well as pull out work with students that need remediation and accelerated work. This position will also assist the administration to oversee and organize the inclusion program at the school. In addition, teachers at this school are expected to be proactive communicators, comfortable with differentiation of instruction within the classroom, and overall, create a nurturing environment. B.A./B.S.

California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Preferred M.A. Preferred Educational Therapist or Special Needs Certification Preferred Minimum three years teaching experience at the elementary/middle school Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
