Full Job Description Fall After-School Cooking Program Schedule:

3:00 PM

Weekday Schedule Compensation:

$55

•$62 per session, depending on experience (includes paid prep) Job Summary We're seeking a passionate and reliable Cooking Teacher to teach after-school cooking classes for elementary students. This role is a great opportunity to blend teaching with hands-on culinary activities, helping kids build kitchen skills, confidence, and creativity in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate cooking lessons that introduce skills like measuring, mixing, and safe food handling. Demonstrate recipe steps clearly and provide guidance to individual students. Foster teamwork, creativity, and confidence through interactive learning. Prepare and organize supplies and ingredients before class and oversee cleanup afterward. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Take attendance and share class updates with program staff. Qualifications Experience working with children in culinary, nutrition, or educational settings. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food prep, and safe kitchen practices. Strong leadership, classroom management, and communication skills. Patient, creative, and enthusiastic about teaching kids. Dependable, punctual, and committed to program success.
