Desired Qualifications:

At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of experience working with children or student groups Three positive work or character references Able to lift up to 50 pounds for material transport Willingness to complete (or have completed) the Instructional Assistant Exam, unless exempt with relevant education Clean Livescan background and current TB test required

Preferred Experience:

Background in science (biology, chemistry, physics) or engineering Science lab skills Creative performance abilities—skits, costumes, storytelling Progress towards a teaching credential or completed teaching credential is a major plus
