A Middle or High School Teacher teaches middle school students, usually in grades 6 - 12, in a public or private school. Teaches one subject, or a group of subjects, such as math and science; works with one class all year or teaches different classes of students throughout the day. May mentor students, coach a school team or advise a student club. May specialize in working with students learning English or students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

As the instructor, you will create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can strengthen leadership abilities through interactive activities, group discussions, team-building exercises, community-focused projects, and hands-on learning experiences. Encourage students to demonstrate responsibility, respect, and positive character. Facilitate engaging discussions, team challenges, and leadership projects. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Supervise students throughout the program and ensure their well-being. Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and program coordinators. Arrive prepared with organized lesson plans and materials. Qualifications Experience working with children or teens in educational, recreational, mentoring, or youth development settings preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Reliable, organized, patient, and enthusiastic. Passion for helping young people develop leadership and life skills.
