Part-Time Position (less than 10 hours per week) $30.00/hr - Must have a reliable form of transportation. Hiring for the 2026-2027 School Year! We are actively looking to hire the BEST Enrichment Instructors to teach kids one or more of the following STEM based programs:
LEGO P.E. DESCRIPTION
Help students develop confidence through games and play by becoming an After School Enrichment Instructor! In this role, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating engaging 1 hour enrichment programs for elementary aged students. Instructors are equip with weekly lessons, materials and the necessary training to make each class successful!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and facilitate engaging 1 hour enrichment programs Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and skill development Flexibility to adapt lesson plans and activities based on student needs and interests Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during program hours Maintain professional development Completes all tasks assigned by director or assistant director Follow procedures as stated in the SK Handbook and other signed documents Maintains safe conditions for students and staff Follows and enforces program discipline policies and procedures Assists with maintenance, proper storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff, co workers, and directors Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
EXPERIENCE
: Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting (1 year required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and abilities Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
WORK HOURS
Monday-Friday (must be available 2+ days a week) Classes are 1 hour long and you are paid for 1.5 hours (required to be on site 15 minutes before and after each class). Class times vary between 2:30-5:30pm.
WORK LOCATIONS
This position requires commuting to different school sites. Public, private, charter, and religious schools.
HOURLY RATE
$30.00/hour when teaching $20.00/hour for trainings, staff meetings, lesson prep, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must by 18 years old or older Applicants must pass a background check and be cleared before working Must be able to stand and walk around the whole class time Frequently move and lift supplies up between car and classroom Work and be comfortable in a loud classroom environment Punctuality and reliability in attendance for all scheduled classes and meetings _________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you are a creative and energetic individual with a passion for inspiring and empowering young minds, we would love to hear from you.
