We're looking for engaging STEM instructors to lead after-school classes for youth at our Denver metro locations. Choose from two exciting class themes based on location: Structural Engineering or Dinosaur Exploration. This role is a great fit for hobbyists, builders, science enthusiasts, or anyone with relevant knowledge who enjoys teaching in a fun, creative environment. No teaching license required; just genuine skills and a passion for working with young people. Why You'll Love This Role Up to $35 per session, $20 base pay plus bonuses and other incentives 1-3 one-hour sessions per week available, you choose how many fit your schedule September through December, with strong instructors often invited back for future sessions Choose your location and class theme: Parker (80134): starts at 3:45 PM Thornton (80241): starts at 3:30PM Aurora (80017): starts at 3:30 PM All materials and curriculum provided No teaching license required What You'll Do Lead interactive, hands-on STEM lessons based on your assigned class theme (structural engineering or dinosaur exploration) Guide students through hands-on activities, projects, and discovery-based learning Teach safe and proper use of tools and materials as applicable Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment What We're Looking For Knowledge or interest in structural engineering/building design or paleontology/dinosaurs/earth science, depending on class Experience working with children Comfort teaching hands-on activities and maintaining safety practices CPR certification (or willingness to obtain, in-person training provided) Ability to pass a background check and complete Colorado Mandated Reporter training (training provided) General liability insurance required prior to your first session.
