A Middle or High School Teacher teaches middle school students, usually in grades 6 - 12, in a public or private school. Teaches one subject, or a group of subjects, such as math and science; works with one class all year or teaches different classes of students throughout the day. May mentor students, coach a school team or advise a student club. May specialize in working with students learning English or students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Pay Rate:
$ 16/hourQUALIFICATIONS
Be culturally aware, sensitive, and compassionate to the people of the community being served Experience with early and middle childhood development Skills and experience in leading groups of children are required Be independent and able to work without supervision Have reliable transportation Ability to respond safely to emergency situations. Must pass an FBI fingerprint screening.CHILDREN ACTIVITIES RESPONSIBILITIES
The minimum performance expectations include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide supervision and activities for children ages 0-12 while their parents are participating in classes at the CLC. Build relationships with children ages 0-12. Communicate with parents and caregivers about progress or needs. Be willing to fill in for open shifts as available.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
