Are you an experienced teacher, educator, tutor, or youth professional looking for meaningful part-time work with a flexible schedule? SPARK Business Academy is seeking enthusiastic and engaging instructors to teach fun, hands-on business, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy programs to elementary students in grades K-5. This is a great opportunity for an experienced educator who wants to earn $85/hour while teaching just 1-3 hours per week in a positive, engaging after-school environment. Flexible:
Teach 1-3 days per week based on your availability Convenient hours: Classes take place after school, generally between 3:00-5:00 PM Ready-to-use curriculum: We provide lesson plans, teaching guides, and class materials Meaningful work: Help students develop practical skills in money, business, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy Engaging environment: Teach interactive lessons designed specifically for elementary-aged students Great fit for educators: Ideal for teachers, retired teachers, tutors, graduate students, and education professionals seeking supplemental income What You'll Do As a SPARK instructor, you will: Lead engaging, hands-on one-hour classes for students in grades K-5 Introduce students to age-appropriate concepts in entrepreneurship, business, and financial literacy Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Encourage students to participate, ask questions, and think creatively Adapt activities and instruction to meet different learning needs Communicate professionally with school staff and SPARK Business Academy SPARK provides the curriculum, teaching guides, and materials so you can focus on what you do best— teaching and connecting with students. What We're Looking For We're looking for educators who are: Experienced working with elementary-aged children Energetic, enthusiastic, and engaging in the classroom Reliable, punctual, and professional Confident managing a small group of students Comfortable adapting instruction to different learning styles and needs Passionate about education and helping students succeed Interested in business, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, or experiential learning
Required:
At least 1 year of experience working with children. Teaching or classroom experience is strongly preferred.
