Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, sportsmanship, and social interaction Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive environment Assist with homework help, tutoring sessions, or educational projects tailored to individual student needs Coordinate with parents, teachers, and other staff to support each child's development and address any concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards including first aid procedures Support children in extracurricular activities such as sports coaching, theater arts, or special education programs Skills Strong classroom management skills to foster a respectful and disciplined environment Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices Experience working with children in daycare, camp settings, babysitting, or tutoring roles Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively in emergency situations Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities; experience in Christian counseling or similar supportive roles is a plus This dynamic position invites energetic individuals who are eager to inspire children daily while honing their skills in education, childcare, sports coaching, theater arts, or youth mentorship. Pay:
