Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher and formal training in Exceptional Student Education
Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Exceptional Student Education preferred, eligibility for Florida Teaching Certificate required
Verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
Responsibilities:
Design and implement instruction, accommodations, and support in line with state standards, district curriculum, and students' needs
Observe and evaluate student performance, monitor assessment data, and maintain grades and attendance records
Provide oversight to teacher assistant and maintain confidential records, inquiries, data, and full-time equivalency (FTE) documentation
Communicate with parents and school/district personnel regarding student progress and encourage parental involvement
