Job Description

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic After-Care Teacher with experience working with children ages 6 to 12 years old . Our after-care program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can complete homework, enjoy snacks, participate in age-appropriate activities, and build positive relationships with their teachers and peers. Responsibilities Receive and supervise children as they arrive from the school day. Serve snacks and ensure children follow appropriate routines. Assist students with homework and school assignments. Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities, games, and creative projects. Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment. Work collaboratively with another teacher in the classroom to support all students. Manage different personalities, behaviors, and individual needs with patience and understanding. Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, families, and team members. Qualifications Previous experience working with children ages 6-12 . Strong classroom management and communication skills. Patient, dependable, energetic, and caring. Ability to work well as part of a team. Comfortable working with children with different personalities, learning styles, and needs. A positive attitude and the ability to create a fun and welcoming environment. Schedule We offer flexible part-time afternoon schedules , including: 1:00 PM

  • 6:00 PM 3:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM Part-time employees are also eligible for benefits.
