This position is in the Fire Academy in the Brevard Public Schools Career & Technical Education Department (CET). Our CET program gives students the opportunity to explore career interests, develop real-world skills, and prepare for both college and the workforce. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, CTE connects classroom instruction to high-demand careers in fields such as health sciences, information technology, engineering, business, education, culinary arts, and many others.

Requirements:

Must be certified as a firefighter by the Division of the State Fire Marshall, Bureau of Fire Standards and Training, and have a minimum of 2 yrs of occupational experience or the equivalent of Part-time experience in a firefighting occupation, or a minimum of 6 yrs of occupational experience or the equivalent of Part-time experience in a firefighting occupation.
