Digital Learning and Virtual Instruction Mighty Minds Christian Academy operates a technology-based instructional program that combines teacher-led instruction with digital lessons delivered through a virtual learning platform. The selected candidate must be comfortable facilitating online coursework, monitoring student progress, grading digital assignments, providing targeted academic support, and maintaining student engagement in both individual and group learning environments. The teacher will be responsible for ensuring students remain on pace, understand the material, and submit authentic, high-quality work. Duties Instruction and Academic Excellence Deliver engaging, standards-based middle school instruction across assigned subjects. Classroom Culture and Student Development Establish a structured, nurturing, and safe learning environment aligned with Mighty Minds Christian Academy's values. Model strong character and Christ-centered conduct while guiding students in their moral and academic growth. Implement proactive classroom-management strategies that promote respect, order, accountability, and positive behavior. Support students' social-emotional development and individual needs through consistent communication and relationship-building. Teach students appropriate digital citizenship, responsible technology use, and academic integrity. Keep students focused and actively engaged while completing lessons through the virtual platform. Collaboration and Professionalism Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to uphold schoolwide expectations and initiatives. Attend staff meetings, professional-development sessions, and special school events as required. Maintain timely and professional communication with parents and guardians using established school communication protocols. Communicate concerns regarding attendance, academic progress, missing assignments, behavior, and technology use promptly. Position Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required; master's degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of successful middle school teaching experience in a private, public, or charter school. Experience in Christian education or faith-based youth programs strongly preferred. Experience facilitating digital coursework or teaching through a virtual learning platform preferred. Demonstrated success in achieving academic growth and maintaining a strong classroom culture.
