Middle & High School Electives Teacher Plant City Christian Academy is seeking a qualified, engaging educator to instruct and inspire Middle and High School students in key elective courses, including Personal Finance, Health, and Bible . The ideal candidate will foster critical thinking, support diverse learning styles, and maintain an active, structured, and encouraging classroom environment. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and facilitate dynamic lessons in Personal Finance, Health, and Bible aligned with school standards. Implement effective, proactive classroom management techniques to ensure a safe, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment. Assess student progress, evaluate coursework, tests, and projects, and provide timely, constructive feedback. Differentiate instruction to support students across various academic and skill levels. Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with parents, administration, and colleagues regarding student growth and success. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience as a Middle or High School teacher (3+ years preferred). Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff. Strong classroom management skills with experience supporting diverse student needs. Proficiency in incorporating practical, real-world applications into elective instruction. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Education Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (Required). License/Certification Florida Department of Education (FDOE) Certification (Preferred). ACSI Certification or eligibility (Preferred).
