Do you enjoy working with elementary-age children and making learning feel more like an adventure than a lesson? Club SciKidz Treasure Coast & Palm Beaches is looking for an upbeat, dependable instructor to lead a hands-on STEM enrichment program for elementary students in Port St. Lucie. Our programs give children the chance to explore science through experiments, challenges, and activities that get them thinking, creating, and discovering. You do not need to be a science teacher . We provide the curriculum, materials, and activity instructions. We're looking for someone who is comfortable leading a group of children, can follow a prepared lesson, and genuinely enjoys helping kids get excited about learning. What you'll do: Lead hands-on STEM activities with elementary students Follow provided Club SciKidz lesson plans and activity guides Set up and clean up materials before and after class Encourage participation, curiosity, and positive behavior Keep students engaged while maintaining a safe, organized environment Communicate reliably with Club SciKidz regarding attendance, supplies, and program needs This could be a great fit for: teachers, paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, education majors, college students, retired educators, youth-program staff, or others with experience working with groups of children.

Schedule:

Part-time weekday afternoons in Port St. Lucie. Current opportunities are generally one afternoon per week for approximately five weeks, with the potential for additional programs as they become available.

Pay:

$25 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum per program day . Applicants must be dependable, have reliable transportation, and be able to meet required background-screening requirements for working with students. Club SciKidz Treasure Coast & Palm Beaches provides hands-on STEM enrichment programs throughout the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches.
