Sorrento Bright Future Academy is Hiring a Part-Time K-12 Teacher (ACE Program)! Sorrento Bright Future Academy, a faith-based private school in Sorrento, Florida, is seeking a dedicated, dependable Part-Time Teacher to work with our K-12 students using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) School of Tomorrow curriculum. Our ACE program is individualized and self-paced, so this role is less about lecturing and more about guiding, supervising, and encouraging students as they progress through their own learning goals. Training on the ACE model is provided - prior ACE experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. Part-time availability of 2-3 days per week may also be considered. Please indicate your available days when applying.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor a learning center of K-12 students working in the ACE / School of Tomorrow curriculum. Score and check student PACEs, record progress, and set daily and weekly goals with students. Provide one-on-one help and small-group instruction when students need support. Administer PACE tests and maintain accurate academic records. Maintain a calm, orderly, and encouraging classroom consistent with the school's Christian values. Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and dismissal. Communicate professionally and regularly with parents, the Director, and school staff. Follow all school, Florida DOE, DCF, and safety policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required (any field; education or a core academic subject preferred). Experience teaching or tutoring school-age children preferred; ACE / School of Tomorrow experience is a plus. Comfortable supporting students across a range of grade levels and subjects. Strong classroom management, organization, and record-keeping skills. Patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoys working with children and teens. Must be able to complete required background screening and meet applicable Florida requirements. Candidates who already have a current Level 2 background screening clearance may be able to start immediately. CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
