A Middle or High School Teacher teaches middle school students, usually in grades 6 - 12, in a public or private school. Teaches one subject, or a group of subjects, such as math and science; works with one class all year or teaches different classes of students throughout the day. What We're Looking For Experience working with children in a childcare center, school, camp, tutoring program, or similar setting is preferred. A positive attitude, patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with kids. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage groups of children while keeping activities fun and engaging. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain after hire). Completion of the Florida DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training (or willingness to complete upon hire). Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
