401(k) 401(k) matching Competitive salary Part Time-After school Teacher Range $ 13 - $16 We are seeking an After School Teacher to join our team. This individual will help plan and present age-appropriate activities for children who are coming from Elementary school in the afternoon or spending the full day with us during teacher workdays and holidays. During the morning, this candidate will help-float in other younger age classrooms with lunch breaks and activities as needed.
Responsibilities:
Create a fun and safe learning environment Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, educational opportunities and fun time. Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
1-3 experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields High School/GED Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred (CDA,TCC and/or work experience considered) Passionate about working with children Ability to build rapport with children Positive and patient demeanour Excellent written and verbal communication skills
