Position:

Teacher for 2-year-olds Regular duties and responsibilities include: Create and implement daily lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of Two-Year-Olds. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to grow and learn. Must attend to the physical and emotional needs of the children including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Teach good habits, basic manners, and skills to the children. Encouraging the children to express themselves and engage in creative activities. Observe and document developmental progress of the children and communicate with parents/guardians regularly. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education. Maintain a clean and organized classroom. Follow all state and federal regulations regarding childcare and education. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in Two-Year-Old care and education. Utilizing technology to enhance instruction and create engaging lessons. Communicating with parents to inform them of their children's progress, including written, phone, or face to face conferencing as needed. Participating in meaningful professional development opportunities as coordinated by the CCS Administrative Team Attending, supporting, or sponsoring extracurricular activities as assigned Ability to work with a team to create lesson plans, instructional activities, and other learning experiences for Two-Year-Olds. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administrative Team Physical requirements include: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
