~6-10hrs Job Summary Join our vibrant team as an After-School Instructor for a dynamic Tech Club, where your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners to explore the exciting world of technology! In this role, you will lead engaging activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork among children and youth. Your energy and leadership will help create a safe, inclusive environment where students can develop new skills, build confidence, and discover their passion for tech. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in youth development and education. Responsibilities Facilitate hands-on tech activities, including coding projects, robotics, digital art, and interactive games that align with the club's curriculum. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to ensure a respectful and productive environment. Supervise children during all club activities, ensuring their safety through vigilant child supervision and adherence to first aid protocols. Maintain a clean and organized activity space, preparing materials and setting up equipment for each session. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress, achievements, and any concerns. Implement youth development programs that promote teamwork, problem-solving skills, and creativity in a fun learning atmosphere. Respond promptly to emergencies by following first aid procedures and operating AED (Automated External Defibrillator) equipment if necessary. Requirements Prior experience working with children or youth in educational or camp settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques. has reliable transportation ongoing training is supported. Passion for teaching technology-related topics such as coding, robotics, or digital media to young learners.
Pay:
$10.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 8.0 per week Ability to
