  • Part-time Company Description The Test Experts is dedicated to helping students in the Metro Atlanta area excel on standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, GMAT, GRE, TOEFL, and IELTS.
The organization believes that test scores should expand, not limit, a learner's college and graduate school options. Through personalized instruction and proven strategies, The Test Experts has helped students achieve significant score increases across these exams. The team focuses on building confidence, mastering test formats, and equipping students with skills that support long-term academic success. Role Description The Head Instructor is a part-time, on-site role based in Suwanee, GA. This position is responsible for leading our programs for younger students (K-8). The Head Instructor will train and mentor other instructors, ensure consistent teaching quality, and refine curriculum and practice materials based on student performance data and feedback. Day-to-day tasks include teaching scheduled classes, assessing student progress, communicating with students and families, and collaborating with leadership to improve instructional methods and outcomes. Qualifications Strong instructional and classroom management skills, including experience teaching standardized test preparation Expertise in curriculum design, lesson planning, and adapting materials for different learning styles and proficiency levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor other instructors to maintain consistent teaching quality. Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Linguistics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. Prior experience with test prep centers, tutoring organizations, or secondary/post-secondary teaching strongly preferred. Commitment to educational equity, respect for diverse backgrounds, and a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach. Ability to work on-site in Suwanee, GA area in the afternoon and early evening hours.
