Job Description

Make a difference before and after the school day—and all summer long! Lighthouse Kids Club is looking for energetic, reliable, and positive team members who enjoy working with kids and want to be part of a fun, supportive environment. Schedule School Year (Split Shift):
Morning:
6:00 AM - 7:30
AM Afternoon:
2:15 PM - 6:00 PM Summer (Full-Time Opportunity): Full-day shifts available (hours vary based on program needs) What You'll Do Help create a safe, structured, and fun environment for students Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, outdoor play, homework help, and enrichment clubs Encourage positive behavior and serve as a role model Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff Assist with student check-in and safe dismissal procedures Follow program guidelines and Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations Work closely with the Director and/or On-Site Supervisor to support daily programming Requirements Must be at least 16 years old Ability to work well with others and be part of a team Able to manage multiple tasks in an active environment Strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working or volunteering with children Experience supervising school-age children Bilingual is a plus Additional Requirements Must obtain and maintain required DHS trainings (CPR, First Aid, Mandatory Reporter, Universal Precautions) Must be able to pass a background check Why Join Lighthouse Kids Club? $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
