Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Teacher to join our Head Start program. The lead teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the social-emotional, cognitive, physical and developmental needs of young children. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives. Must work collaboratively with teaching staff, family service staff, mental health consultants, and other program professionals.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Must meet DCFS Lead Teacher requirements (minimum 60 semester hours of college with 18 semester hours in child development/ECE) Must meet all applicable Head Start, state licensing, and onboarding employment requirements.Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
