Job Description

Overview We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as School Program Staff. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with youth, a strong understanding of childhood development, and the ability to engage students in various activities. Duties Supervise and engage with children during program activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Implement educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development. Assist in behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among students. Provide guidance and support for children with special needs, utilizing knowledge of special education practices. Facilitate theater-related activities that encourage creativity and self-expression. Maintain open communication with parents, staff, and students regarding individual progress and program updates. Administer first aid as necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all participants. Qualifications Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is required. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Familiarity with behavior management techniques to effectively support student interactions. Certification in First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
