: Middle School Teacher•Math

: Grant Middle School
CONTRACT PERIOD
180 days
REPORTS TO
Building Principal
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with middle school and high school math endorsement Knowledge of instructional practices that promote supportive learning environments Ability to communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form and have had prior experiences demonstrating the use of collaborative teamwork Experience in flexible grouping instructional practices Working knowledge of integrated instruction and student-centered learning
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with students to build organizational skills Provide support to students for core classes through a tutorial model Assist students with self-monitoring of academic progress and communication with teachers Work collaboratively with students and families to support student academic needs Other duties as assigned
EFFECTIVE DATE
