Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Childcare Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years of age and have graduated High School, have a passion for education, a strong background in classroom management, and a commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment. The Childcare Teacher will be responsible for teaching a variety of subjects and age groups, from infants to 5 years old. The candidate will be expected to follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines while also adapting to the needs of the students. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a difference in the lives of our students.Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of subjects and age groups, including preschool and sometimes school-age children.
- Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines while adapting to the needs of the students
- Implement effective classroom management techniques, including behavior management strategies
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students
- Utilize educational technology and tools to enhance the learning experience
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
Skills:
- Experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
- Familiarity with preschool and childhood development inside a Christian environment.
- Ability to develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
- Experience with childcare and educational programs
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive and supportive environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
