Salina, KS 67401 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our childcare team in Salina, KS. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, developing curriculum, and guiding students to achieve their full potential. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for teaching, and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning and meet curriculum standards. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments tailored to student needs and abilities. Lead classroom management and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to promote academic growth. Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to enhance educational programs and initiatives. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Mentor and support assistant teachers and teaching aides as needed. Stay current with educational best practices, standards, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, or CDA Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in a lead or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Proficient with educational technology and classroom management tools.
