Read more about our equity work here. This teacher should have a strong commitment to active anti-racism for our Mathematics Team and Data Science position. The ideal candidate is prepared to teach and assess middle school math students and develop curriculum, instruction, and assessment materials aligned with the course sequence. Strong mathematics background preferred.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will plan and teach middle school Mathematics and Data Science while working collaboratively with the middle school department chair and members of the Mathematics department and cluster teams to support student learning and growth.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Mathematics license at the appropriate grade level Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with and/or teaching middle school students and an understanding of the needs of students at this age Collaborative work ethic Training/experience in the use of data/ data science, and instructional technology Commitment to inclusive pedagogy Willingness to contribute to student life beyond the classroom

Compensation and Benefits:
Please review the Unit A Contract and this page to learn more about employee compensation and benefits. Salary is determined by education and experience, ranging from Bachelor's (Step 1) $28,447 to Doctorate (Step 14) $60,264 (This range is based on a .45 FTE).
