Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to middle school students' academic needs and personal growth goals. Deliver instruction in English language arts and mathematics utilizing diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles. Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance engagement and facilitate online instruction when necessary. Provide targeted tutoring in math and English language arts to support individual student progress. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management, encouraging respectful behavior and active participation. Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse cultural backgrounds and learning needs of students, including those with special education requirements. Plan engaging lessons that incorporate life skills development topics such as communication, teamwork, time management, and goal setting. Experience Prior experience teaching or tutoring middle school students in academic subjects such as English language arts, mathematics, or science. Familiarity with learning technology platforms and online instruction methods to support hybrid or remote learning environments.
