Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate Middle School Spanish Teacher to inspire and engage students in learning the foundations of Spanish language and culture. This role involves designing engaging lesson plans, fostering a supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and language acquisition. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching middle schoolers, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to educational excellence. You have the flexibility to select/develop and teach the curriculum of your choosing, with approval. Duties Develop comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with language standards Deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, utilizing instructional design techniques and classroom management strategies to maintain an active learning environment. Assess student progress through formative assessments, project-based evaluations, written and oral assignments; provide timely feedback to support continuous improvement. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior management plans, and academic advising to ensure a supportive home-school connection. Manage classroom behavior effectively Qualifications Experience teaching middle school students, particularly in Spanish language instruction or related social sciences. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment strategies aligned with educational standards. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal Proficiency in educational technology integration, including learning management systems and digital resources for language teaching. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and behavioral needs.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 per week
