WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and builds positive relationships with student, families, and coworkers. The ideal candidate is patient, caring, enthusiastic and dependable with a good work attendance record.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Schedule :
Monday-Friday 2:30pm to 6:00pm. Daily activities include healthy snacks, cooperative games, homework help, arts and crafts, leadership activities, outdoor play, and monthly swimming activities at the
YMCA . WHAT YOU WILL DO
Create a warm, supportive afterschool environment. Lead or assist with games, projects, enrichment activities, and homework support Encourage positive behavior, social-emotional growth, and student safety Collaborate with YMCA and school staff to provide high-quality aftercare programming
ADDITIONAL WORK OPPORTUNITIES
In-service days, school vacation week programs at the Bangor YMCA, and summer camp opportunities
