Responsibilities:

Carries out all scheduled activities, including running games, sports activities, arts & crafts and playground activities with enthusiasm! Loves working with kids in an active environment! Follows daily schedule and ensures students move between activities on time! Has a positive attitude when working with a team! Works with our team to complete Daily Cleaning Checklist at the end of every day! Attends weekly team training! Previous experience in sports coaching or childcare is preferred! Strong classroom management skills to effectively engage and guide students! Excellent communication skills to interact with students and fellow team members! Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential! Transport children from school to our facility in our vans.

Terms/Schedule:

Works approximately 20-22 hours per week (Monday through Friday 1:00-6:00pm) Additional hours available for day camps on early release days, scheduled school closings and some holidays (except holidays that MIKA is closed) Additional hours for occasional kids events, such as Parents Night Out parties

Requirements:

Must be 18 years old or older. Must be able to facilitate and assist with activities and games or working with kids in both an active and classroom environment. Must have reliable transportation and report to work on time. Must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude for success! Must have access to a smart phone or computer for regular email/text/social media communication. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
