Job Description

English/Language Arts Interventionist - Sanford Middle School Sanford Middle School is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time English/Language Arts Interventionist position. This position will primarily support students in Grades 5 and 6 . The ELA Interventionist will play a critical role in supporting student literacy development through targeted instruction and collaboration with staff. This position is an integral part of the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 literacy interventions for students Deliver push-in classroom support in collaboration with classroom teachers Actively participate in and help facilitate the MTSS process and team meetings Support instructional coaching efforts , including modeling effective literacy instruction Assist in facilitating professional development opportunities for staff as appropriate Collaborate positively and effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Qualifications:
Appropriate teaching certification required Experience working with middle school students , preferably in grades 5-6 Strong understanding of literacy instruction, intervention strategies, and differentiated instruction Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff Demonstrates patience, kindness, and compassion Commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement Sanford Middle School values a strong sense of community, a focus on student growth, and a collaborative professional culture. Pay Range:
$48,751.00-$93,464.00 salary
