RESOURCE ROOM TEACHER
•Clintondale High School
SUMMARY
Looking for a dynamic teacher who will be responsible for working with special needs students such as those who have learning, physical, emotional or mental disabilities or challenges in a high school resource room setting.
COMPENSATION
The compensation is outlined in the 2025-2028 CEA collective bargaining master agreement.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess individual students to determine the most appropriate teaching strategies and develop a teaching plan, (Individual Development Plan
•IDP).
Communicates with parents to discuss student progress
Participates in curriculum development programs as required
Attends staff meetings as required by the Building Principal
Other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and Director of Special Education.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate, license or other legal credential required
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable
