Middle School History & Language Arts, 5th-8th grade Catholic Diocese of Lansing Grand Ledge, MI Job Details 9 hours ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Full Job Description St. Michael Catholic School in Grand Ledge, Michigan is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our vibrant academic community teaching History and English Language Arts to 5-8th grade students. We are committed to forming students intellectually, spiritually, and personally within a faith-filled environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging instruction in assigned subject area(s) aligned with school curriculum Foster a positive, structured classroom and homeroom environment Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback Collaborate with administration, faculty, and parents to support student growth Support and model the Catholic mission of the school in daily interactions Attending faculty meetings, professional development training, and other school events as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field appropriate to teaching area Valid teaching certification Prior teaching experience preferred, especially at the middle school level Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
