Job Description

Jackson Christian School seeks to hire a full-time middle school teacher. This individual must possess a strong faith and walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as evidenced by a desire to regularly attend corporate worship in a Bible believing church and serve with other brothers and sisters in Christ. JCS is a warm and friendly school that is populated by staff, faculty, and families that desire to point others to Christ. A successful candidate for this ministry must possess or have the ability to obtain a State of Michigan Teaching Certificate along with ACSI certification. In addition, a love for children is required. Full time grades 6-8 classroom teacher This position will be apportioned teaching responsibilities in some of the following disciplines: Math, Social Studies, Geography, History, English, Student Helps, PE, Technology. Classes would be assigned depending on the successful candidates' qualifications and skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA or BS with State of Michigan Teaching Certification or the ability to obtain
