Recovery Residence Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Recovery Residence Managers is responsible for working directly with clients, landlords, real estate management companies, hospitals/clinics, human service agencies, department of correction, parents and other family members of residents. The manager is responsible for all aspects of Recovery Residence that ensure the stability of the daily operations. This includes advocating, coordinating and monitoring client services, and directly assisting clients in achieving goals, documenting client progress and tracking data for reports and outcomes management. The following responsibilities may not necessarily be completed by the Recovery Residence Manager; however, the responsibility for the implementation, maintenance and completion is that of the Recovery Residence Manager.

DESCRIPTION

Participates in the development and maintenance of the strengths based assessments for all assigned participants, including status, needs and recovery capital. Participate in monthly meetings via zoom to the Michigan Association of Recovery Housing MARR Monitor the care of the facilities to ensure all MARR standards are being followed and completed Screens incoming participants for appropriateness and completes admission paperwork Functions as part of the case management team and may participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Monitors and coordinates all agency and extra-agency service delivery to participants as specified in the participant's plan. Works with participants to promote the goals of the plan. Responsible for monitoring maintenance issues at all locations and arranging for repairs Acquires furnishings, supplies and other items necessary for the Recovery Residences Responsible for completing reports and forms as needed/required Communicates with probation officers, family members and other service providers. Arranges for outpatient treatment services Manages participant crises either directly or indirectly by accessing needed services. Directly assists participants in securing and maintaining needed services and entitlement: e.

G., housing, financial benefits, physical examinations, laboratory test. Etc. Collects program fees and intercedes when needed to assist a participant if needed Supervises Recovery Housing Assistants Participates in RSS meetings, All Staff meetings and others as directed by the supervisor Assists in systems advocacy to secure needed services for the participant from any service provider as necessary within the Substance use and/or Community Mental Health system. Ensure that participant activities, complaints, concerns, needs and outcomes are in participant's record.

e.g.; releases, consent forms etc. as required according to the policies and procedures of HNV Participates in performance reviews. Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
