Position Responsibilities STEM Teacher (Grades K-8) The STEM teacher will design and implement engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. Instruction should inspire students to investigate real-world problems while integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through project-based learning. Develop and implement an engaging

curriculum. Create hands-on learning experiences that foster inquiry, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Integrate engineering design, coding, robotics, technology, and maker-centered learning when appropriate. Encourage innovation while connecting STEM concepts to everyday life. Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross-curricular learning opportunities. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Foster a classroom environment where curiosity, perseverance, and teamwork are celebrated. Maintain and organize STEM materials, technology, and classroom resources. Life Skills Teacher (Grades 6-8) The Life Skills program prepares middle school students to become responsible, organized, compassionate, and capable young adults rooted in Catholic values.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required. Valid Michigan teaching certificate or ability to obtain certification preferred. Passion for STEM education and hands-on, project-based learning. Ability to inspire creativity and innovation in students. Experience integrating technology into instruction is preferred. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Believes in or is open to supporting an inclusive classroom environment.
