Christian Daycare/Preschool has an opening for a part-time float and after school teacher- Hastings / Cottage Grove. Hours would be 11:30 - 5:00. Qualified candidates must be able to affirm the statement of faith of The Harbor Church as well as the organizational mission of Christian Education and spiritual development of children. Candidates must have a positive attitude, professional appearance and demeanor, and be committed to representing our ministries, beliefs and faith at all times.

Qualifications:

Experience caring for children Love for children A healthy relationship with Jesus and passion to grow closer to Him Excellent classroom management and conflict resolution skills Ability to represent our ministries, beliefs, and faith at all times Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate a growing Christian faith Be actively involved in a local Christian church Support and uphold the school's statement of faith and moral conduct policy Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to problem solve Applicants must: Have or be able to get their CPR & First Aid Certification and SUIDS/Shaken Baby training, along with other mandated training Be a hard working and supportive team member Be flexible and energetic, able to walk, navigate stairs, and run and play with children, standing for long periods of time Be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally Be able encourage others and help when needed Be able to promote a positive learning environment where children to learn and grow Be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting through MN DHS Pay is based on education and experience (we use MN DHS Rule 3 guidelines).

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
