Job Description

Description St. James Catholic School is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic individual to join our Aftercare Team. The Aftercare Staff Member is responsible for providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students during the after-school hours. Schedule Monday-Friday | 3:00-5:30 p.m. Responsibilities Supervise students in the aftercare program and ensure their safety and well-being. Provide a welcoming, positive, and nurturing environment for students. Engage students in age-appropriate games, activities, crafts, and play. Help maintain a clean and organized aftercare environment. Follow all school and aftercare policies and procedures. Communicate professionally and positively with students, families, and school staff. Assist with student dismissal and ensure students are released according to established procedures. Qualifications Enjoys working with children and demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and dependability. Ability to maintain a safe and positive environment for students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
