00 pm -6 pm, Monday- Friday. We follow the Springfield Public School Calendar. Duties Lead and supervise a group of kindergarten and first-grade children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, including arts and crafts, sports, storytelling, and educational games Implement classroom management strategies to maintain an organized, positive environment conducive to learning and fun Demonstrate good character and serve as a role model Collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or behavioral challenges Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing personalized attention when required Serve snack as outlined by the director. Follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by our directors. Qualifications Prior experience working with school-aged children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp counseling, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable Must be 18 years of age or older. Must pass both FCSR & fingerprint background screenings Must be available throughout the school year for weekday shifts from 2:00pm - 6:00pm.
