After Care Teacher 2026/2027 School Year - Starting September 2, 2026 Monday-Friday 3pm-5:30pm This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children! Come be a part of our team of dedicated educators. Sunrise Montessori School is a growing community of learners which serves children from three-years-old through 6th grade. We are looking for an aide to help with the aftercare program. This person will create a warm, safe, healthy and nurturing environment where self-direction is enhanced, independence encouraged and individuality respected.

CHARACTER QUALITIES

QUALIFICATIONS:

Assistant teacher must meet the following basic requirements: CPR/First Aid certification (can be obtained upon hire) A clear record through background check Have the physical capacity to work with children ages 3-12 years old (lift up to 40 lbs) Willingness to be trained in the basics of the Montessori philosophyAll staff members strive for the following characteristics in their work: kindness, excellence, competence, innovation, collaboration, respect, resourcefulness, flexibility and accountability. Dependability and reliability are especially important qualities for this position.

Pay:

$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.5 per week
