Hours:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-5:30PM Pay:
$12-$16 per hour (based on experience) We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and positive After-School Teacher to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, building relationships with families, and creating a fun, engaging environment after the school day ends. Responsibilities Pick up children from local schools and transport them safely to our program (training provided). Supervise and engage children in a safe and positive classroom environment. Assist students with homework and academic support. Lead or participate in STEM enrichment activities such as Lego builds, chemistry experiments, life science and earth science projects. Communicate professionally with parents during pick-up and provide updates as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment. Follow all program policies, safety procedures, and state regulations. Requirements Must be at least 19 years old. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable being trained to drive a passenger van. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Ability to work every day that local schools are in session. Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine enjoyment of working with children. Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a professional demeanor. Schedule Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM-5:30 PM. Follows the local school calendar and school-year schedule. Additional hours may be available on teacher workdays, school holidays, early release days, and during school breaks.
