Job Description

Quality Child Care Center, Inc. dba Oakboro Kids Club is seeking a dynamic and creative educator to join our team. We are looking for a qualified After-school Teacher for children ages 4-12 to prepare and prepare for school day and help in the classroom in a manner that meets the needs of each child. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in working with children, be able to create fun and safe learning environments, and will be able to provide consistent and quality instruction. Our after-school teachers are responsible for preparing their class every day according to the curriculum, and helping to ensure that all students are prepared for school day.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience with children is a plus but not required Passionate about working with children Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Passionate about teaching
Responsibilities:
Develop a careful and creative program suitable for children Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.)to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.) Organize classes and supervise activities Track students' progress and report to parents Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards Ensure all educational content is completed and submit documentation (written reports, daily reports etc.)to parents on behalf of the school.
