POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates who champion a growth mindset and promote a sense of inquiry for all students are greatly valued in our educational organization. The selected candidate will possess an ability to ignite students' interest in English/language arts and engage students in meaningful learning opportunities through project-based inquiry. Responsible for English/language arts curriculum and instruction for middle school students.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; New Hampshire K-8 certification, required 6-8 or 6-12 English/language arts, or ability to receive a statement of eligibility through the Department of Education. Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, techniques involved in lesson plan development and classroom instruction. Strong classroom management skills including experience.
PREFERRED
Two years or more of middle school teaching experience and experience with competency-based education.
