Full-Time About the Role Our Lady of Good Counsel School is seeking an energetic and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our compassionate, faith-centered academic community. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and lead engaging, hands-on science instruction (covering Life, Physical, and Earth/Space Sciences) within a supportive Catholic environment. Key Responsibilities Teach core middle school science curricula aligned with New Jersey state standards and diocesan guidelines. Design and facilitate interactive lab activities, experiments, and inquiry-based lessons. Maintain a well-managed, positive classroom that supports both academic growth and character development. Integrate educational technology into daily learning and communicate regularly with parents and administration. Support the Catholic identity and mission of OLGC School.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Certification:
Valid New Jersey Teaching Certification (Elementary with Science specialization or Middle School Science endorsement preferred).
Experience:
Previous teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred.
Requirements:
