9675393-87535 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Gifted Teacher supporting students in a dynamic 7th-12th grade charter school environment. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing exceptional learners, collaborating closely with colleagues, and shaping specialized educational experiences. If you are passionate about gifted education and skilled at consulting and developing individualized plans, this role is ideal for you. This is a part-time position (.5 FTE) with flexible scheduling optionswork the standard hours of 8:15 am to 3:00 pm, or opt for five half-days per week according to your availability. Your main focus will be on consulting with staff and families, as well as writing and updating G-IEPs for gifted students.

Key Qualifications:

Current NM teaching license with a gifted endorsement Experience as a general education or gifted teacher for grades 7-12 Strong knowledge of G-IEP development and compliance Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to provide consultative support to staff and families Organized, reliable, and proactive in managing caseloads

Responsibilities:

Develop, write, and maintain G-IEPs for students in grades 7-12 Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on gifted education best practices Monitor student progress and adapt educational plans as needed Attend meetings relevant to gifted services and individualized education planning Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students This contract assignment runs ASAP through May 28th and offers a competitive weekly pay structure along with reliable work hours.
