Job Description

What you will do:
Facilitating hands-on activities following the Boys and Girls Clubs Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion. Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program. Observing BGC guidelines and policies Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.
WHEN ARE WE OPEN
We serve children when they are out of school. we are open Monday through Friday from 4am to 8am then again from 4pm to 8pm. We do not have or need employees from 8am to 4pm for school age children. Required
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS
18 years or older 1 year experience working with children under 13 preferred but not necessary Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting, references, Drug test etc. Must be medically fit to perform all job duties, free of communicable disease including TB. Warm, friendly, caring, upbeat personality. Exceptional people skills in dealing with young children, parents and staff. Professional, reliable and prompt. Must have the stamina and physical flexibility (walking, sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, pulling, running, reaching, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.) without assistance to participate in children's activities.
