Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging after-school activities that promote childhood development, including arts, sports, and educational games. Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Supervise children during homework time, providing tutoring support as needed to reinforce learning concepts. Ensure the safety of all children by practicing proper childcare procedures, including first aid and emergency response protocols. Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention in collaboration with specialists when necessary. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff through clear communication and compassionate Christian counseling principles when appropriate. Maintain organized records of daily activities, attendance, and behavioral notes to track each child's progress. Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages is essential. Demonstrated classroom management skills to handle diverse behaviors effectively. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during all activities. Experience working with students with special needs or in inclusive environments is a plus.
