Duties Facilitate an after-school activities that may include arts and crafts, sports, theater, tutoring, and outdoor games to promote physical activity and creative expression. Ensure the safety of all children by supervising their behavior and maintaining a secure environment using effective behavior management strategies. Implement structured routines that support childhood development and foster positive social interactions among participants. Plan age-appropriate lessons that incorporate special education needs when applicable. Lead youth group activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and community involvement while adhering to program guidelines. Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to supervise children effectively in dynamic environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs. Experience facilitating youth activities Strong team leadership abilities with a proactive attitude toward creating engaging and safe programming for children. Ability to work outdoors when necessary and adapt to various activity settings while maintaining professionalism.
